Electronic lenses that focus the moment you do

e•Progressives Gen 4 — liquid-crystal focus for presbyopia, engineered for clarity at every distance.

How it works

A lens that changes power, not your habits

Inside every Morrow lens sits a laminated liquid-crystal cell. Apply a low-voltage signal and the molecules re-orient, raising the local refractive index and adding reading power exactly where it is needed. Switch it off and the lens returns to clean, low-distortion optics for distance and intermediate vision.

Because the near correction is generated electronically, the lower lens zone carries a far softer fixed power than a conventional progressive. The result is less peripheral blur, less swim effect and a shorter adaptation period.

Generation 4

A new generation of e•Progressives

Gen 4 was rebuilt around wearer feedback collected from real daily use — reading, screens, driving, stairs. Each change below is a measured optical improvement over the previous architecture, not a cosmetic revision.

Gen 4 key improvements

Redesigned power distribution for a larger usable corridor and calmer peripheral optics.

  • 3× larger intermediate vision area
  • +33% wider near field of view
  • Cleaner image with fewer visible lens markings
  • Smoother, more natural power transitions

Electronic reading boost

Near power on demand, so distance vision is never traded away for reading comfort.

  • Extended reading comfort for long sessions
  • Instant electronic boost when required
  • Natural, unobstructed distance vision
  • Seamless intermediate transition for screens

Experience

Designed to remove limits. Built to enhance vision.

Morrow e•Progressives combine electronic focus with precision lens design to deliver comfort and control across the three situations presbyopic wearers report most often.

Quick adaptation

Morrow e•Progressives use a softer correction in the lower part of the lens, so the brain has far less distortion to learn. Most wearers settle in within days rather than weeks.

More safety

Greater clarity at the bottom of the lens means steps, kerbs and stairs stay sharp and correctly positioned — an important factor in reducing trip and fall risk.

Better vision

A field of view expanded by 33% delivers sharper focus, stronger spatial awareness and smoother transitions between distances — see more, do more, with more control.

Frames & fit

Precision hardware around precision optics

Every frame in the collection is available in all four colourways. Each style is built from high-quality materials and fitted with adjustable nose pads, so the e•Progressive lens sits perfectly aligned with the wearer's pupils — the single most important variable in real-world performance.

Four colourways, one platform

Consistent lens geometry across the range simplifies dispensing, stock planning and cross-selling for optical retailers.

Alignment you can fine-tune

Adjustable nose pads let the optician set vertex distance and pantoscopic tilt accurately, protecting the intended near and intermediate zones.

Built for all-day wear

Lightweight construction and balanced weight distribution keep the electronics invisible in daily use — it simply feels like eyewear.

Why trust Morrow

Experience, engineering and professional oversight

Morrow is an optics company, not a gadget brand. Our lenses are developed with semiconductor and eyewear specialists, validated with wearers, and dispensed exclusively through trained eye care professionals.

Four generations of field experience

Each lens architecture — from the first e•Progressive to Gen 4 — has been refined using structured wearer feedback on reading distance, corridor width and adaptation, then re-validated before release.

Cross-industry expertise

Liquid-crystal cell design, driver electronics and lens surfacing are developed together with partners in semiconductors and optical manufacturing, so electrical and optical tolerances are engineered as one system.

Professional dispensing only

Morrow eyewear is fitted by certified optical partners who verify prescription, pupil alignment and frame geometry. Self-fitting is never part of the process — accuracy is what makes the technology work.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short technical answers to the questions we receive most often from wearers, opticians and international buyers.

How do Morrow e•Progressive electronic lenses work?

A thin liquid-crystal cell is laminated inside the lens. When near vision is required, a low-voltage signal changes the orientation of the liquid-crystal molecules, the local refractive index rises and reading power is added on demand. With the boost inactive, the lens behaves like a conventional distance or light-addition lens with clean, undistorted optics.

What is new in the Gen 4 e•Progressive lens?

Gen 4 was redesigned from real-world wearer feedback. It provides an intermediate vision area three times larger than the previous generation, a near field of view that is 33% wider, fewer visible lens markings and smoother, more natural power transitions between distances.

Why do wearers adapt faster than with standard progressives?

Because the reading power is supplied electronically, the lower part of the lens only needs a soft fixed correction. That means less peripheral blur and less swim effect, so the visual habits used for walking, stairs and driving remain intact during the adaptation period.

Are the lenses suitable for screen work?

Yes. Screen distance sits in the intermediate corridor, which is the zone Gen 4 enlarged the most. The wider intermediate area plus a smoother transition profile is specifically aimed at long sessions in front of monitors and laptops.

Where can retailers and distributors source Morrow eyewear?

Morrow works through a network of certified optical partners. Use the Where to Buy directory to locate an authorised practice, or write to [email protected] for distribution, training and partnership information.
